This photograph was made while staying in Foresta, CA-a small privately owned community within the borders of Yosemite National Park. Foresta has a long history with wildfires destroying the homes and they are constantly maintaining their risk with controlled burns. The area was always smokey and provided the best atmosphere for dramatic photography.
